## How billing works

- Currency: EUR. Billing cadence: monthly. Payment and subscription lifecycle run through Polar; card data never reaches ErmisAI servers.
- There is no per-token bill. Each plan includes a monthly AI capacity denominated in EUR, and every AI call accrues its actual cost against that capacity.
- The included capacity is guaranteed for the active billing period and is only recalibrated at renewal, with at least 30 days of notice.
- Overage: there is no automatic overage charge. Usage notifications fire at 50%, 80% and 100% of capacity; reaching 100% pauses billable AI requests for that newsroom until the next billing period, unless overage is explicitly enabled on the subscription.
- Business plans price as a base plus a per-seat add-on. Each extra seat adds to both the monthly price and the shared monthly AI capacity (see "Seat maths" below).
- A subscription that falls out of good standing (past due, canceled) reverts to the Free plan entitlements until it is restored.

- Dedicated support: Yes.
- Custom integrations: Yes.
- Unlimited monitoring rules and no daily cap on story deliveries.

- Monthly AI capacity, seat count and contract terms are set per contract.
