Accessibility statement

What works, what does not, and who to tell. Written as a statement of position rather than a compliance badge.

Last updated August 27, 2026

Statement

Entro314 Labs PC intends the ErmisAI website and product to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion. This statement covers the public website at every locale and the authenticated newsroom workspace, and it is kept honest: where the target is not met, it says so.

Statement
01

Conformance target

The target is EN 301 549 and, through it, WCAG 2.1 level AA. ErmisAI considers the site partially conformant: most of the interface is built to that standard, and no independent third-party audit has been carried out. Nothing here is a certified conformance claim.

02

What is implemented

Verified in the code that ships:

  • a skip link to the main content on every page, with the main region focusable,
  • keyboard operation for navigation, dialogs and the editorial workspace, with a visible focus indicator,
  • motion that honours the operating system reduced-motion setting - the marketing animations stop entirely,
  • the interface language declared per page across ten locales, so a screen reader switches pronunciation with the content,
  • colour and type tokens chosen for AA contrast on body text in both the light and the dark theme.
03

Known limitations

The gaps ErmisAI is aware of:

  • sign-in, sign-up and account management screens are rendered by Clerk, and their accessibility is that vendor's,
  • dense editorial and admin tables can require horizontal scrolling at high zoom,
  • illustrative figures on the marketing pages carry no information the surrounding text does not also state, but they are not individually described,
  • no formal audit or user testing with assistive technology has been commissioned yet.
04

Legal position

The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025. Micro-enterprises providing services - fewer than ten people and no more than €2 million in annual turnover or balance-sheet total - are exempt from its service requirements, and Entro314 Labs PC is below that threshold under the Greek transposition. This statement is therefore published voluntarily, and ErmisAI treats it as binding on itself regardless.

05

Reporting a barrier

Send the page address, the assistive technology in use and what failed to hey@ermisai.com. Reports are answered within ten working days. An accepted barrier is logged with the fix, and the person who reported it is told when it ships.

06

Enforcement

If the answer is unsatisfactory, the matter can be raised with the market surveillance authority designated under the Greek transposition of the European Accessibility Act.
